Format:

Author Surname, First Initial. Second Initial. (Year, Month Day). Article title:

       Subtitle. Newspaper Title, page range. Retrieved from URL [if viewed online]

Newspaper tips

  • Italicise the title of the newspaper.
  • Precede page numbers for newspaper articles with p. or pp.
  • If an article appears on discontinuous pages, give all page numbers, and separate the numbers with a comma (e.g. pp. 1, 3, 5).
