Making your llist visible to students

1. Before you publish, you might want to check your list from a students perspective. You can do this by navigating to "View   list as a student" by clicking the ellipsis menu beside the list name.

Please do not toggle to student view in Canvas to access Course Readings from there, as it will result in an error message. From this viewpoint Course Readings will try to access the library user database with the rights of a student user, and as you are not, your login attempt will not be accepted by the program.

2. Send the list to the library for review by clicking "Library Review". In this process the library will:

  • Acquire items (preferably in e-formats) not currently held by the library
  • Check if more copies of a physical item are needed, and will put a copy in the course literature collection.
  • Seek to acquire physical items as e-books
  • Respond to any message you may have sent through Course Readings

3. Click "Publish". This action will make the full content of the list visible to students.

And you are done!
