Good news for anybody using Ordbogen.com for quick lookups and to check their language! Ordbogen.com has launched a Chrome extension and upgraded the desktop version.
As CBS faculty, you have access to a whole suite of dictionaries from Ordbogen.com: multiple languages, professional, grammar, etc. You can use Ordbogen.com online via the library website, as an app on your smartphone, and now also as an extension in your Chrome browser.

Chrome extension - dictionary directly in your browser
Ordbogen.com comes with a Chrome extension that, once added to your Chrome browser, appears as a small icon at the top of the Chrome menu.
Simply click the icon, type in a word, and Ordbogen.com will launch. In this way, you do not need to go through the library website for access.
With the browser extension installed, you can look up words directly from an online document. Simply right-clicking on a word and select 'look up [word] in ordbogen.com', to open the service.

New desktop version
The new Ordbogen.com is both enjoyable and easy to use. If you have previously downloaded version 3 or 4 and want to continue using the service, you need to update the plugin. The most recent desktop version is called Ordbogprogrammet 5. Make sure to delete any previous version If relevant.
