In our little series on scholarly blogs on research publishing, we will now turn to “The scholarly kitchen”.

The conversation in this kitchen revolves around issues of scholarly publishing and offers lots of information including posts on AI in publishing, citation cartels, predatory journals, publication bias, and other related issues.

The regular chefs are a diverse group of researchers, librarians, and publishers who occasionally will invite guest chefs to join in.
On the menu, you will also find a series of podcasts on issues such as science under the Trump administration.
The scholarly kitchen is connected to “The Society for Scholarly Publishing” and present itself as “a moderated and independent blog aimed to help fulfill this mission by bringing together differing opinions, commentary, and ideas, and presenting them openly”

You can subscribe to and consume both blogs and podcasts even if you are not a member of the society.
