Zephyr contains information about corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A), initial public offerings (IPO), private equity, and venture capital deals. There are links to the detailed financial information (connected to the ORBIS database) on the companies involved in the deals. It also contains information on rumours as well as announced and completed deals. You can search for deals by various categories or by name of the acquiror or target company.
It covers deals made globally from 2001 onwards.
European deals dating back to 1997.
Additional features include news, ranking, and tables about M&A activities.
You can use the Private equity searches to find and retrieve private equity-backed deals more easily. This functionality is similar to that of the Zephyr Advanced Grouped view sub-tab, but the available search categories are dedicated to PE deals.
(Note! in the Private Equity tab VC - Venture Capital deals are not included. To search for them use Zephyr Advanced search - All deals)
