Orbis

Global company database used to find, analyze, and compare business and financial information.

Shareholders

Information about a company's shareholders can be found under Corporate ownership in the left menu.

Current shareholders:

Here you are able to identify a company's Ultimate owner and other shareholders. Ownership percentages are shown alongside shareholder types such as:

  • C = Corporate entities
  • E = Financial institutions or pension funds
  • I = Individuals

This helps understand who controls the company and the distribution of ownership stakes.

Controlling shareholders:

If you only want to look at Direct majority ownership (and not all shareholders), look under Controlling shareholder.

Shareholders History:

If you in the Filter by choose 'At closing date: All years of history' you will see 2 lists on the screen:

  1. A list of all Current Shareholders - same as above - and then another list with Previous Shareholders (can be very long).
  2. Or choose 'Information available at:', you will only get a list of the actual shareholders at that specific time/year.

Visualization of Shareholder Structure

Orbis allows you to visualize a company’s ownership structure through an interactive chart. This chart displays how the parent company is connected to its subsidiaries across one or more levels.

You can choose to view:

  • Corporate Group
  • Subsidiaries
  • Shareholders

Use the dropdown menu above the chart to adjust the structure and depth.
