Bloomberg - Absolute Valuation in the Bloomberg Terminal: Step5: Estimating fair share price

This guide is an introduction of functions withing the Bloomberg Terminal that help to do the absolute valuation of a company

The final step is to divide the estimated equity value (company’s market capitalisation) by the number of shares to get the estimated fair share price.

Companies are priced by the share. Investors care about the value capitalisation. An event of a stock price going up or down is a signal that the value of a company has increased or decreased.
