Taylor & Francis Agreement on Open Access

Taylor & Francis and Open Access publishing
A consortium agreement between Taylor & Francis and the Danish research institutions has been agreed. To CBS researchers, the agreement means that you can publish your research as Open Access at no cost in a number of Taylor & Francis ' journals.

The agreement is valid until 31 December 2028. According to the agreement, the final version of an article can be published as Open Access under a Creative Commons license if it fulfills the agreement conditions. The publication costs are covered by the consortium agreement.

Agreement conditions

To publish Open Access at no cost, the following conditions need to be fulfilled:

What to do as a researcher?

When your article is accepted for publication, the corresponding author will receive an email invitation to complete the publication process:

  1. As the corresponding author you must identify yourself by either selected institution, by institutional email or by location.
  2. Select Open Access, if your article is published in an eligible journal.
  3. Choose a Creative Commons license (if you have questions about Creative Commons licenses, please write to: oa@cbs.dk).

Remember to use your CBS e-mail address in the process.

Which journals are part of the agreement?

The agreement includes the journals from the Open Select journals list.

Open Access journals (journals that are not subscription-based, and where all articles are published as Open Access) are not part of the agreement. If you publish in one of these journals, you will need to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC).

NB: Note that the Taylor & Francis agreement only covers a limited number of articles per year.
