Add information to your citations - Using Course Readings in Canvas - Faculty

Any citation can be enriched with information for your students. You might want to tell them to buy a textbook or to read a specific portion of a book, etc. In the following you will see how.

Notes for students

Adding a "Note for students" can be done by clicking the title of the reference. A "Note for students" could for example be information on what pages you want the students to read or specific content reading instructions.

Adding tags

Tags offering your students more information on the source, can be added to your citations. They are optional, but we do recommend that you let your students know if the citation is a textbook they should buy.
